Clash Verge Official GitHub & Safe Download Sources

If you searched for the Clash Verge official website, use the project repository as the source of truth:

The authoritative Clash Verge Rev project source is github.com/clash-verge-rev/clash-verge-rev. Its Releases section publishes the official installers. Clash-verge.com is an independent community guide and is not operated by the software project.

Original Clash Verge vs Clash Verge Rev repositories #

Two repositories commonly appear in search results:

ProjectRepositoryStatusUse for a new installation?
Original Clash Vergezzzgydi/clash-vergeArchived and no longer maintainedNo
Clash Verge Revclash-verge-rev/clash-verge-revActively maintained community continuationYes

Clash Verge Rev uses the Mihomo kernel and follows current desktop releases. If you need the history, feature differences or migration steps, read Rev vs the archived original Clash Verge.

How to verify a safe installer #

Before running any file:

  1. Check the repository owner and name. The path must contain clash-verge-rev/clash-verge-rev.
  2. Check the release path. A direct asset should point to /releases/download/<tag>/<filename> under that repository.
  3. Match the filename to your platform and CPU. Most Windows 10/11 PCs use the x64 setup file; Apple Silicon Macs use the aarch64 DMG.
  4. Treat mirrors as transport only. A mirror URL should still contain the complete official GitHub asset URL after its own hostname.
  5. Do not run signature files. Files ending in .sig are for verification, not installation.
  6. Avoid “crack,” “premium,” or “enhanced” editions. Clash Verge Rev is free and open source.
  7. Avoid an “official Clash Verge APK.” The project publishes desktop builds for Windows, macOS and Linux, not Android or iOS applications.

Common misleading sources #

Repackaged Windows installers #

A third-party page may wrap the original installer in its own downloader, add browser extensions, or distribute an older binary under a new filename. Prefer a GitHub release asset or a mirror that preserves the official asset URL.

Fake Android APKs #

Clash Verge Rev has no official Android APK. A mobile package using the Clash Verge name is not released by this project. See the Android alternatives guide for compatible clients.

Archived original repository #

The archived zzzgydi/clash-verge repository is historically important, but it is not the current source for maintained releases. Do not confuse an old original build with the current Rev project.

Unclear “official website” claims #

A website can publish documentation or mirror links without being operated by the project. Verify ownership through the GitHub repository rather than trusting “official” in a page title, advertisement or domain name.
